 With every flavor and food under the African sun, The Waterfront Food market is conveniently located  on Dock Road in the Waterfront. Find everything from the Creamery, a confectionary, a steak bar, Thai hut co to Tuisian delights, Nigiro Tea and Gourmet Pantry. Sit at a table in indoors or enjoy the hustle and bustle with views of the harbour and Table Mountain.

Eastern Bazaar

 Get down and get your hands dirty with this great food. Follow the scent of spices and gather with locals from all walks of life and savour selection of authentic Indian cuisine, specifically made according to the traditions of different areas in India, to Turkish kebabs and falafel, even a bit of Chinese and pizza thrown in there for good measure. Some much loved snacks such as Indian pani puri and masala peanuts are also available as well as lassi yoghurt drinks and homemade Indian ice cream. Plastic tables, no frills, but all the mouth-watering dishes you could hope for.

Root 44 Market, Stellenbosch

When Sunday rolls around, this is where you need to be. With something for everyone, in the way of kiddies outdoor and indoor playgrounds, live music and a market selling absolutely everything. Take your pick of cuisine from Chinese to lamb quesadillas to Indian to prego rolls with a craft beers, cocktails and desserts of every kind.  Even on a rainy day, there is some undercover seating- so make sure you get there early and take your seat for lunch in the winelands.
